Descripción del artículo del vendedor

12mo, (177x108mm), xi,[1],443,[1]p. 11 engraved plates (of 12). Contemporary calf, cover detached. Previous owner's signature: the Rev.D Jones, 'Rector of Langan 1792' on the front free endleaf, rear free endleaf and directions to the binder page, and the later owner's signature: Marg[are]t Lloyd, dated 1849, on the reverse of one plate. A sadly imperfect, and bedraggled, copy of a rare edition, ESTC records only private collections as a location for this book. The text, though drawing on a number of named sources, may be based on Goldsmith's history.
