Two black cloth bound hardback books with gilt titles on the spine. Both books come with a nice gilt coloured box, slipcase. The two books are in exceptionally good condition and as they both are used books, normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. However from my untrained eye they look like they have not been used or read. Book 1: The Guns Of August, has 490 pages. Book 2: The Proud Tower: A Portrait Of The World Before The War 1890-1914, has 505 pages. Both books have nice tight bindings, all pages intact and are in nice clean, readable order. Please note these books are heavy when packaged with care, therefore postage/shipping may increase from listed postage/shipping price depending on final destination. Set in Utopia by The Folio Society, printed by The Bath Press on Hamilton Wove Paper and bound by them in full cloth. Maps drawn by Reginald Piggott.
