1853, London, Richard Bentley, small 4to, pp xiv, 488, 23 tinted lithographic illustrations (the frontispiece folding) and 20 wood-engraved vignettes, half black morocco, black cloth boards, floral printed endpapers. "The landscape and architectural drawings are from my own sketches, but the figures are from the pencil of Mr Egron Lundgren, A Swedish artist now residing in Seville, whose admirable delineations of Spanish life and customs are well known to those who have had the pleasure of visiting his studio." "At the extreme point of the Sierra (de Mijas) is the small village of Torre Molinos, where, as well as at Churriano, most of the bread consumed at M?°laga is made. Nothing can exceed the cleanliness of the houses here.A man of the name of Parody has a very pretty villa here, at which strangers can make arrangements to stay." See Foulch? -Delbosc 456. Front hinge a little strained, slightly spotted, and with a small water stain affecting the margins of the plates, otherwise a complete copy of an uncommon work.
