The Chatham Bookseller has been in historic Madison, NJ for more than forty-five years. Ours is a general shop which emphasizes good literature, art and scholarly books in many different fields. We also sell rare books, first editions, ephemera, and classical and jazz CDs. The shop is open six days a week and we encourage browsing. We are happy to bring out books listed online upon request. We also do book searches and appraisals. Since February 2015, The Chatham Bookseller has been owned and operated by Richard Chalfin and Kathy Rodgers who have decades of experience in bookselling prior to taking over the shop.
The store hours are 9-5:30 Tuesday through Friday except 6:30 on Thursday, 10:00 to 5:00 on Saturday and 12-5 on Sunday. The business is owned and operated by Richard Chalfin and Kathy Rodgers
