Product Description: "The future of the American people lies in space. In order to use and explore space, we must vastly expand our scientific and technological capabilities. Future benefits, such as inexhaustible fusion power, energy independence and the end of air and water pollution could revolutionize American society." So say the authors of this startling and revolutionary book. Inside you'll find an amazing proposal to transform the frigid, almost airless planet Mars into a life-sustaining Earth-type planet. You'll discover that a handful of engineers and scientists have already begun work on designing starships. And you'll see how the solution to the problems of weightlessness and living in space for years at a time are within the grasp of research in space medicine and the development of permanent, self-sustaining life support systems and fission and fusion powered engines. "We have reviewed the status and potential of the space enterprise," say the authors. "The exploration and colonization of the solar system will be highly rewarding, and the possibility of interstellar exploration looks promising. *SW Shrink Wrapped. Still in the original factory shrink wrap, with condition
visible through shrink noted. For example, 'SW (NM)' means shrink wrapped in
near-mint condition.

indistinguishable from a Mint item. Close to perfect, very collectible. Board

*EXExcellent. Lightly used, but almost like new. May show very small spine
creases or slight corner wear. Absolutely no tears and no marks, a collectible
condition.
*VG VG Very Good. Used. May have medium sized creases, scuff marks, very small
stain, etc. Complete and very useable.
*Fair Very well used, but complete and useable. May have flaws such as tears,
pen marks or highlighting, large creases, stains, marks, a loose map, etc.
*PoorExtremely well used and has major flaws, which may be too numerous to
mention. Item is complete unless noted.

the second code describes the contents. When only one condition is listed, then the box or cover and contents are in the same condition. I
