Born Anonymous is the compelling autobiography of Anitha Kobusingye, who was orphaned at birth in Kampala, Uganda. Her teenage mother died giving birth to her, and her father, a soldier, was killed in the Rwandan genocide. As a newborn baby girl, with no family to claim her, she was moved to Sanyu Babies Home, an orphanage, where she lived until she was five years old. Then adopted, she was so beaten and abused that she ran away. At seven years old, Anitha lived for years on the streets of Kampala, enduring hunger, rape, and a growing hatred for everyone, including herself. Finally placed in another orphanage, she was taken in by German missionaries, who discovered her father's parents. Anitha went to live with her grandparents and was selected to attend the Cornerstone Leadership Academy. Upon her graduation, she founded Lighthouse Children's Home, a home for twelve street children, who she continues to love and support. This is a thrilling story of many miraculous events that brought Anitha Kobusingye to attend and graduate from college in the United States, where she lives, works, and shares the love of Jesus that changed her life.
