Based in the leafy hamlet of Chartham Hatch, just outside Canterbury, BookAddiction offers beautiful, illustrated and collectible used books. We have a small but nicely formed stock of interesting and beautiful books. We started selling used books on line in 1999 (initially trading as The Virtual Bookshelf and then, after a small break, as Wimbledon Rare and Collectible Books from 2014 onwards). We're members of the booking selling co-perative, Ibooknet, which guarantees the highest standards of professionalism in book-selling. We are also in the process of applying for membership of the PBFA - the Provincial Booksellers' Fair Association - so watch out for our stand at your local bookfair. Free economy shipping in the UK, regardless of the number of books ordered.
Overseas shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
Our books are dispatched regularly twice a week. Please inquire if you require expediated or 'best endeavours' shipping.
We use bespoke book boxes to best protect your books in transit. They are made from recycled material and are fully recyclable. We are commited to minimising the environment impact of our book business and hope that you can support us in this endeavour.
