Presumed first "Chicago" edition" (title page dated 1905). Division into chapters and verses, with references, by Orson Pratt, Sen. 16mo. Measuring approximately 6¾" x 4¾". Black textured cloth, covers stamped in blind and spine gilt. xii, 623pp. Owner name and stamp of a noted American psychologist on the front fly, light wear and the spine a touch sunned, tiny ink spot on the bottom edge, and small (not unpleasant) area of offsetting on one page spread from a botanical specimen once laid in, a nice near fine copy.
