Paperback. Dr. Valentina Silva-Thorson's world shatters twice in one day: first, with the discovery of a mathematically impossible, acoustically trapped bacterial dead zone sprawling across the Indian Ocean; then, with the chilling revelation that her father's death, long ruled an accident, was a meticulously orchestrated murder. Her research, a beacon of hope for dying oceans, has instead illuminated a terrifying truth.Behind the ecological devastation stands Alejandro Thorson-Gomez, a corporate titan and her estranged father's former partner, now weaponizing ecological collapse to corner global shipping. He is building an empire on the ruins of the planet, and Valentina is a threat he cannot abide. Enter Voss, a phantom tactical commander dispatched to sanitize all witnesses, and Valentina finds herself a hunted woman, her groundbreaking science now a death sentence. Her only hope lies in an uneasy alliance with Mateo Vincent, a haunted ex-mercenary whose past is as murky as the deep ocean. Together, they must expose Thorson-Gomez before his engineered catastrophe becomes irreversible. From the sun-drenched chaos of crowded ports to the crushing silence of the abyssal plains, their global pursuit culminates in a perilous descent into the crushing depths of the Mauritius Trench. They must infiltrate and destroy the clandestine deep-sea "Ghost Facility"-the chilling heart of Thorson-Gomez's operation-before the world's oceans suffocate under his reign. The future of life on Earth hangs by a thread, and only Valentina and Mateo can sever the ties that bind humanity to its watery grave. This item is printed on demand.
