Blockchain: Principles and Applications in IoT

This book covers all the aspects of Blockchain and its application in IOT and focuses on Blockchain, its features, and the core technologies that are used to build the Blockchain network. It traces the history of blockchain and applications that are adopted by mainstream financial and industrial domains worldwide.

Dr. Rajdeep Chakraborty did his PhD in CSE from University of Kalyani with M.Tech in IT and BE in CSE. His research experience is of 9 years and academic experience is of 14 years. He has several publications in reputed international journals and conferences. He also has written an authored book on hardware cryptography. His field of interest is mainly in cryptography and computer security. He has also guided many masters’ thesis and UG projects. He is an enthusiastic and budding researcher in computer security. He has also awarded with Adarsh Vidya Saraswati Rashtriya Puraskar, National Award of Excellence 2019 conferred by Glacier Journal Research Foundation, Global Management Council, Ahmedabad, Gujrat, India and conferred on 10/December/2019. He is also guiding PhD Scholar under MAKAUT, Formerly WBUT, West Bengal, India and nominated secretary of Indo-UK Confederation of Science, Technology and Research, London, UK.

Dr. Anupam Ghosh did his PhD in Engineering from Jadavpur University with M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering and MSc in Computer Science from University of Calcutta. He is presently working as a Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Netaji Subhash Engineering College, Kolkata. His teaching experience 19 years including 13 years in research. He has published more than 80 international papers in reputed international journals (SCI/SCIE/ESCI) and conferences. His field of interest is mainly in AI, Machine learning, deep Learning, Image processing, Soft Computing, Bioinformatics, IoT, Data Mining. He has also guided many masters’ thesis and UG projects.

Dr. Valentina Emilia Bălaş at present working as Conferenţiar universitar, Facultatea de Inginerie, Universitatea “Aurel Vlaicu" din Arad, Romania. She did her PhD in Intelligent Electronic and Communication and her work domains are system integration, soft computing, fuzzy control, system modeling and simulation and Biometrics. She has completed many international projects and published more than 100 papers in renowned international journals and conferences. She is also editorial board member of many reputed journals such as Neurocomputing, ISSN 0925-2312, ISI impact factor: 0,866, IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, ISSN 1063-6706, ISI impact factor: 2,262, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, ISSN 0278-0046, ISI impact factor: 1,872, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, ISSN 1551-3203, ISI impact factor: 1,487, IEEE TSMC part B, Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Part B,ISSN 1083-4419, ISI impact factor: 2,448, Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems, ISSN 1064-1246, ISI impact factor: 0,437. She has many awards and recognition in her name and she is general chair and co-chair of many prestigious international conferences. She has also delivered invited talk, keynote address, panel discussions etc in various events. She has twenty five years of teaching and university experiences. She also worked as project engineer for thirteen years.

Dr. Ahmed A. Elngar working as Assistant Professor, Faculty of Computers & Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science Department, Beni-Suef University, Beni-Suef, Egypt. He is also Director of Technological and Informatics Studies Center at Beni-Suef University, Beni-Suef, Egypt, Founder and chairman of Scientific Innovation Research Group (SIRG), Beni-Suef University, Beni-Suef, Egypt, Deputy Director of the International Ranking Office, Beni Suef University and Managing Editor in Journal of CyberSecurity and Information Management (JCIM). He did his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) of Computer Science from Faculty of Science, Al-Azhar University – Cairo, Egypt. He has also completed various prestigious certificates and his field of work are Object Oriented Programming, Network Security, Cryptography & Network, Information and Computer Security, Fundamental of Multimedia, Steganography & Digital Watermark, Data warehousing, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), Fundamentals of Database Systems, Introduction to Algebra and Geometry, Software Engineering and Intelligent Systems. He has many renowned publications in international conferences and international journals. He also has various books and book chapters, he has delivered keynote address, invited talk, session chairing, chair and co-chair in various renowned international conferences. He has ten years of teaching experience and also has five years of experiences as instructor and developer.
