nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - It's always nice when you get to pick your battles . . . Pick . . . Pick fewer battles. That's too many, life. Put some back. Well, now that we've apparently broken the seal on all the downstairs baddies who are either coming upstairs to plot universal destruction or run around like it's spring break in South Padre, things are starting to feel normal again. Or at least as normal as they ever do. I've got a ride . . . Though it's definitely not what I had in mind. But, if you go shopping in a hunter's junkyard, beggars can't be choosers. Not that there's anything wrong with Charlie the Chaos Cruiser. He's seen some things and there's more experience in his back seat than I've had in my whole hunting career. Bane and Gabe may be holed up with the order, but that doesn't mean I can't skip through the tulips with the demons dropping by upstate New York to raise a little hell. Of course the hunt wouldn't be on my radar at all if it wasn't for a housesitter who sees things and has an aversion to using doors and her visions of me becoming a human squeaky toy to a massive Black Dog. Add in the first few slaps of a god civil war, sprinkle on some fae b.s., and bake at three thousand degrees to a bloody mess and you've got my weekend. But, I'm on the road again, keeping that target on my back moving and hoping it's enough to outrun the thing that's dogging my steps. BLACK DOG continues the Midnight Rider saga, a darkly funny, demon-slaying thrill ride across 15 blood-soaked, soul-saving, chaos-fueled books. If you love snarky heroines, morally gray monster-hunting, found-family feels, and apocalyptic stakes-you just found your next obsession. Fans of The Dresden Files, Anita Blake, Supernatural, and Good Omens-this is for you. What Readers Are Saying: 'I was hooked from the first sentence! This book I devoured in a DAY. All in all it's a 10 out of 10. I am off to read the second book in this series!' 'Dark, hilarious, and heart-wrenching. Urban fantasy at its best.' 'This book had it all-dark humor, heart-pounding tension, creepy AF cannibals. Get you a girl that slays, y'all!' 'Absolutely the best, most riveting series (13 books!) I have ever read, and I am a voracious reader! I've cried, laughed, despaired, and rejoiced a zillion times throughout this series, AND this was the first series that ended SO perfectly, I could not have hoped for more. You deserve this incredible journey, so do yourself a favor, and start it now!'.…
