Acerca de los autores: Betty Staley has been a Waldorf teacher, writer, and international lecturer for the last sixty years. She has published eight books about child, adolescent, and adult development, as well as curriculum. Her book Between Form and Freedom, Raising a Teenager, has been a favorite for parent study groups; and Africa, a Guide for Teachers and Families introduces children from kindergarten through high school to the wonders of African history, geography, myths, music, art, and food. Her first children's book, Ow and the Crystal Clear, was published in 1978, and she looks forward to publishing a new edition soon.Betty lives in Fair Oaks, California, loves walking on the American River trail, traveling, and keeping in touch with her children and grandchildren. Sandra is an accomplished artist and illustrator working out of northern California for the past 40 years. She has enthusiastically engaged with each project that she has worked on, understanding that the artist/writer collaboration is a wonderful opportunity for creative magic to happen.In her spare time, she loves to garden, providing adequate habitat to feed the birds, bees, and butterflies in her neighborhood throughout the year. And, as if that doesn't take up most of her time, she also crafts artistic lamps, furniture, and frames from specialty hardwoods. In other words, she completely immerses herself in the creative dance with her muse.
