About the Author:
During her career as a science and technology innovation executive, Denise Drace-Brownell has created successful businesses and furthered breakthrough ideas for emerging growth and Fortune 500 companies.
Denise is an expert in vision capabilities required for next-generation digital economies.
Denise holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois; a Master’s in Public Health/Engineering from Columbia University Medical Center’s Mailman School of Public Health; and a law degree from Rutgers, with advanced work at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a certified optician.
Denise is a published author and has delivered speeches and papers at several institutions and forums including the Polytechnic Institute of New York University, the Bentley Global Business Ethics Symposium sponsored by State Street Bank and Bentley College, Licensing Executives Society International, Inc., and the Association for Corporate Growth.
About the Book:
Denise Drace-Brownell identified this unmet need of over 12% of the population in developed countries, with some studies showing a prevalence greater than 30%. These numbers can be expected to increase from society’s expanded use of digital devices.
She did breakthrough work in technology with the likes of John Bardeen, the only scientist to win two Nobel Prizes in physics. But because of this underdiagnosed vision problem, her fatigue was so great she had to leave her pioneering work behind.

Efectos del desistimiento

El plazo se cumple si devuelve la mercancía antes de que venza el periodo de 14 días. Tendrá que asumir los gastos directos de devolución de los bienes. Usted solo es responsable de la disminución del valor de los bienes como resultado de una manipulación distinta a la necesaria para establecer la naturaleza, las características y el funcionamiento de los bienes.
Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento
El derecho de desistimiento no se aplica a lo siguiente:
- La entrega de periódicos, diarios o revistas, con la excepción de los contratos de suscripción; y
- El suministro de contenido digital que no se proporcione en un soporte tangible (por ejemplo, en un CD o DVD) si, al hacer el pedido, aceptó que podíamos empezar a entregarlo y que no podría desistir una vez iniciada la entrega.
