Deposing the ruling elite and establishing their own government, they have made enemies of everyone in power - the Emperor on his far-off throne, the invading army, and the religious and merchant classes of their own city - while the impoverished masses support none of them. Events are in motion that cannot be stopped, but the final outcome of these events will be decided by an unlikely group of adventurers who stumble upon the situation at just the wrong time. Better than Any Man details what happens when the Player Characters stumble into a situation on the verge of a complete breakdown. Will they get involved? Who will they support? Will they survive? Will they find a way to profit in this ruined state? Thousands will die, and tens of thousands more lives will be ruined. The laws of God and nature will be violated. What happens here will never be forgotten by those who witness it, no matter how much they try. Welcome to No Man's Land. Oh, yeah, did I mention the usurpers are all sorcerers and half of them lair in dungeons? And an ancient evil is taking this opportunity to strike? Although the adventure will use the historical Thirty Years War as the backdrop to the adventure, it will be easily adaptable to your fantasy campaign milieu.…

below before purchasing for a smooth transaction!
All pictures are stock (not actual) photos. Our grading system is listed below
for your review on the exact condition of the item you will be receiving.
OUR GRADING
*SW Shrink Wrapped. Still in the original factory shrink wrap, with condition
visible through shrink noted. For example, 'SW (NM)' means shrink wrapped in
near-mint condition.
*Mint Perfect. Brand new.
*NM Near Mint. Like new with only the slightest wear, many times
indistinguishable from a Mint item. Close to perfect, very collectible. Board
games in this condition may be played but show little to no wear.
*EXExcellent. Lightly used, but almost like new. May show very small spine
creases or slight corner wear. Absolutely no tears and no marks, a collectible
condition.
*VG VG Very Good. Used. May have medium sized creases, scuff marks, very small
stain, etc. Complete and very useable.
*Fair Very well used, but complete and useable. May have flaws such as tears,
pen marks or highlighting, large creases, stains, marks, a loose map, etc.
*PoorExtremely well used and has major flaws, which may be too numerous to
mention. Item is complete unless noted.
*More Notes Some items are listed as 'code/code.' The first code represents the box or book cover condition,
the second code describes the contents. When only one condition is listed, then the box or cover and contents are in the same condition. I
*A '+' (plus) sign indicates that an item is close to the next highest condition. Example, EX+ is an item between Excellent and Near Mint condition. A
'-' (minus) sign indicates the opposite.
*Defects noted Major defects and/or missing components are noted separately.
*Dice In most cases, preowned boxed games and box sets do not come with dice.
