But when Marcel arrives at the decaying Delmore Manor, he finds that time has changed far more than the house. Jannette is desperate for freedom, and the reunion Marcel imagined quickly descends into something darker.

Exploring love, trauma, obsession, and the consequences of arriving too late, Bathed in Mourning's Light is a complete standalone story in the Pocket-Sized Tragedies series, designed to be read in a single sitting.

Kadius (Kade Hollis) is a Texas-born writer and founder of Bad Poet Revolt, a creative imprint dedicated to preserving structured poetry and enduring narrative forms. Raised in West Texas, he has been writing since childhood, first published in the third grade and continuing ever since. Deeply inspired by the Roman poets who first ignited his passion, Kadius blends classical structure with modern intensity, and crafting works that explore love, violence, obsession, and the fragile nature of the human soul. His growing catalog of pocket-sized tragedies and poetry reflects his belief that poetic form is not something to abandon, but something to master, adapt, and reintroduce to the modern world.
