Chapter One

The Road to Damascus


On a lonely road, leading to self destruction
I was dying daily, being filled with corruption
Having no regards, as I faced each day
Surely death and misery, was in my way.

The roads were wide, and they were many
I started seeking help, but couldn't find any
In bondage I was, from head to toe
Just falling in strongholds, every where I'd go.

The path I chose, was not on the wise
I found myself following, Satan and his lies
In a driven rage, I came out fighting
Expressing myself daily, in poetic writings.

My life was in turmoil, they belittle my name
My dream was destroyed, I was in such pain
I was battling within, and I was battling without
Being tossed to and fro, and all about.

Being weary and tired, I found a Rock
I laid down to rest, still somewhat shocked
And it was there, I began to dream
And I had visions, I had never seen.

Then mercy and grace, took a stand
Stating I AM HE, the SON of Man
HE said I know, what you've been through
It's sin you're carrying, that's killing you.

Now as you see, it's bigger than you
That's why I came, to deliver and rescue
To set captives free, and provide a way
For them to escape, before come judgment day.

Even the lowest point, you had to face
I was already there, offering mercy and grace
And when you thought, you were all alone
I was that strength, that moved you on.

In all your hurt, in all your despair
When the pain seem endless, I was there
The footprints behind you, deep in the sand
Those prints I made, when I carried you man.

When the grave waited, for you my friend
I personally went down, for all your sins
When hells door waited, Satan laughed at you
But I took the keys, so you won't go through.

When you were discouraged, and totally lost
I was the bridge, of which you crossed
I hold the foundation, on which you stand
Is anything too hard, for the Son of Man?

When the world failed you, of which you depend
It was me who came, and took you In
So rise up young man, and look around
You're out of the pit, and on Holy ground.

Regardless to whatever, you've done in the past
The kingdom of GOD, is here at last
Take what you've seen, and what you've heard
And tell the world, all about the WORD.

So as the son, rise up each day
I thank the LORD, every time I pray
For through his mercy, and by his grace
I was delivered from, the destruction I faced.

There are no tragedies, for those in CHRIST
Only promises and assurance, of eternal life
And of a truth, these words I say
HE lifted me up, and showed me the way.


'PRAISE THE LORD'

But what saith it? The word is near thee
Even in thy mouth, and in thy heart :that
Is the word of faith, which we preach.
Romans 10:8

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth
The lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine
Heart that God hasth raised him from the dead
Thou shalt be saved
Romans10:9

Hear my prayer, O Lord, and give ear unto
My cry; hold not thy peace at my tears
For I am a stranger with thee, and a
Sojourner, as all my fathers were. O spar
Me, that I may recover strength, before I
Go hence, and be no more.

Psalm 39:12,13

He brought me up also out of an horrible
Pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet
Upon a rock, and established my goings, and
He put a new song in my mouth, even praise
Unto our God: many shall see it, and fear,
And shall trust in the lord,
Psalm 40:2,3


Silent Prayer (A Prayer To Thee)

This is my prayer, my prayer to ThEE
Though silent and still, Father, receive my plea
This petition for mercy, I make with haste
Though written in silence, receive openly in grace.

For the enemy comes, to rob, steal, and kill
I'm accepting nothing less, than your perfect will
Even through the valley, of shadow and death
Thy light still shines, restoring life and health.

Being the mighty Counselor, and the perfect healer
Your WORD alone, makes the perfect sealer
Within and without, by faith I stand
And set my hope, in GOD, not man.

I cry ABBA FATHER, incline thine ear
You're my strong place, whom shall I fear?
The light of my life, and my salvation
Is in your hands, with total dedication.

So until I'm summoned, by the Most High
I'll continue to fight, I can't deny
With the Holy Spirit, making intercessions for me
I know I have tot-al victory.

I trust in THEE, with all my cares
I rest in you, I do declare
Your peace and love, is true and rare
By faith I receive, through my silent prayer.

Graceland

According to, the master's plan
A mission is set, before every man
GOD'S wisdom came forth, with every key
To all the things, pertaining to life eternally.

"Yes", from the secret place, of the MOST HIGH
A order to live, cause man to die
And this was not, GOD almighty's intent
Therefore another order, he then sent.

Everytime I tried, to do GOD's will
I found myself stumbling, for the law killed
After trying to win, a hopeless race
I left the law, in search of grace.

I came upon a rock, and a resting place
Now I walk patiently, and not with haste
I now have victory, over all I face
Because mercy found me, and I found grace.

In this new freedom, I found to be
Not only great blessings, but a victory
This grace wasn't given, just to me
But sufficient and given, to all humanity.

For sin shall not have dominion over you:
For ye are not under the law, but under grace.
ROM 6:14

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God
is eternal life through JESUS CHRIST our lord.
ROM 6:23


THE STAR OF THE SHOW

Ladies and gentlemen, if I may
I have a few words, I would like to say
About our Savior, the Prince of Peace
Who separated legion, from over six thousand beasts.

Introducing to you, the Star of the show
He is someone we all should know
He died on the cross, and took our sins
Thus saving all children, all women and men.

He was sent from God, from heaven he came
The only way to God, is in his Holy name
In heaven and earth, he's the Star of the show
He'll guide us to glory, until the whistle blow.

The ultimate sacrifice, he made for man
Making us partakers, to God's Holy plan
He defeated Satan, by conquering sin
And destroyed the grave, so Satan couldn't win.

People of the past, both near and afar
Came from far lands, to see the new Star
Known as the Rock, he is our salvation
And he's back in heaven, making final preparations.

He fulfilled all things, in heaven and on earth
He's the only one able, to give a new birth
So before the curtains close, I pray you all see
The star of the show, who died for you and me.

So the stage is set, for every boy and girl
Since he is the light, of the whole wide world
He shines on the good, as well as the bad
And he heals the sick, and comforts the sad.

He's the Star of the show, but we have a role
In renewing our minds, and saving our souls
We must do our part, maybe then we'll be
Counted worthy at his return, giving life eternity.

This Star has already done, what no other could do
He has given his life, for both, me and you
All around the world, and in heaven too
He has topped every chart, a feat no other could do.

Nothing or no one, can exact what he's done
He's the Star and our Savior, God's only begotten Son
His name is JESUS CHRIST, titled KING of KINGS
Who is known to many, as that Holy Thing.

He is our role model, and he's LORD of LORDS
Seated with the angels, we'll praise him in one accord
So when the awards are giving out, I know he'll receive
The greatest award given out, for he saved all humanity.

"Praised the lord"

Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity
Therefore God, even thy God hath anointed thee
With the oil of gladness.
Hebrews 1:9

Thou madest him a little lower than the angels
Thou crownedst him with glory and honour
And didst set him over all the works of thy hands;
Thou has put all things in subjection under his
Feet, for in that he put all in subjection under
Him, he left nothing that is not put under him
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower
Than the angels for the suffering of death,
Crowned with glory and honour; that he by the
Grace of God should taste death for every man.
Hebrews 2:,8,9


Food For thought

We all have searched, high and low
In life's ups and downs, we've suffered many blows
Stop, look and listen, take heed and halt
For the word of GOD, is food for thought.

The earth feeds us, just look all around
There's signs of life, on every inch of ground
We fill our hearts, though some wasn't taught
The word of GOD, is food for thought.

Even in the sky, "yes" the heavens too
Shout out splendid images, for me and you
Questions are answered, when answers are sought
The word of GOD, is food for thought.

The word is alive, it's universal and true
Food for our souls, our mind and body too
In worldly cares, we've all been caught
Now we being served, food for thought.

From Genesis to Revelation, the word is found
A hidden treasure, deposited in ground
And for this treasure, many wars been fought
Because GOD's Holy word, cannot be bought.

let's renew our minds, let's renew our hearts
And concentrate on, the word of GOD
For the word there-in, unlock a sacred vault
Releasing wisdom and knowledge, divine food for thought.

In all our comings, in all our goings
We've walked in faith, without even knowing
But faith in GOD, as JESUS has taught
Gives us the victory, that's food for thought.

So stop walking around, without a clue
Look at your plate, now study GOD's menu
Your orders being prepared, just waiting on you
Come and receive inside, or at the drive through.

(for GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten
son that whosoever believe in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life. Jn 3:16 The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth,
and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith,
which we preach; that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth
the LORD JESUS, and believe in thine heart that GOD hath
raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:8-9


THE POTTER'S HAND

Earth is his footstool, and heaven is his throne
With a showing of power, darkness had never known
He created the sun and moon, the stars of heaven also
And with his Holy Spirit, he caused them to glow.

His throne is everlasting, from forever to forever
And with out-stretched arms, he cast down the devil
He is called the Alpha, he's called the Omega too
There's nothing he don't know, or that he can't do.

The angels in heaven sing praises, worshipping him everyday
Singing glory to the highest, who's kingdom's here to stay
His mercy endureth forever, with truth, righteousness and love
There is no other greater, on earth and in heaven above.

He set in place the waters, which stretches from coast to coast
The thunder and lightening answers, when called by the Lord of host
His eyes is on all men, giving according to his ways and doings
And all work done in vain, will certainly amount to ruin

All flesh he created, from the dust of the ground
And that which God builds up, what power can tare it down?
God can even move mountains, and this you can remember
Every time you call his name, ole Satan just trembles.

Now Satan's on a mission, he out to steal your soul
Because destroying mankind, is Satan's ultimate goal
And he refuses to give up, even though he's been defeated
Because God sent his Son, who ha already interceded.

Jehovah's power is infinite, his glory last forever
And cannot be overthrown, by mankind nor the devil
So if God is holding us, in the palm of his hand
Who can remove us, what force, what beast, what man.

Therefore praise and honor Jesus, because God is supreme
Regardless to what anyone say, or how convincing they seem
God is more than a creator, yes", he's much. Much more
Truly he's all in all, greater than the ole lion that roars.

For God created the creature, but pride got in the way
And he tried to exalt himself, above God and not obey
Causing a third of the angels, to follow him to the pit
Because when you turn from God, you'll die bit by bit.

God Jehovah is one, besides him there's no other
To whom can we compare him, none, there's isn't another
So uplift his Holy name, sing praise and honor him
Worshipping him in Spirit, exalting his sacred realm.

And God's kingdom remains, even unto this day
The doors are wide open, for those willing to obey
Because the glory of God is life, and is the only way
His word is still alive, being manifested each day.

God's presence is splendid, how excellent is thy name
Magnificent is his persons, undefiled and without blame
His truth and righteousness, is as pure as his love
He said I AM that I AM, the one and only God above.

But remember all things, were put in Jesus hand
Because on the cross, he became the Savior of man
When all is accomplished, as the Word of God read
Jesus himself will be subject, to God indeed.

"praise the Lord"

See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no God
With me: I kill, and I make alive, I wound, and I
Heal: neither is there any who can deliver out of
My hand. For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say
I live forever.
Deut, 32:39,40

Nay but, o man, who art thou that repliest against God?
Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, why
Hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power
Over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel
Unto honor, and another unto dishonor? What if God,
Willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known
Endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath
Fitted for destruction.
Deut. 9:20-22

Daniel answered and said, blessed be the name of God
For ever and ever; for wisdom and might are his: and
He changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings
And setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and
Knowledge to them that know understanding: he revealed
The deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the
Darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.

Dan. 2:20-22


ON BENDED KNEES

IN THIS WICKED LAND, EVIL IS EVERY WHERE
THERE'S HURT AND SORROW, YES SO MUCH DESPAIR
WITHOUT LOVE AND HOPE, WE'RE RECEIVING OUR DUE
WE NEED TO FORGIVE, AND START OVER ANEW.

THERE'S BUT ONE THING, I REFUSE TO SAY
THAT ONE THING IS, EVERYTHING'S OKAY
I WON'T SCREAM, NOR WILL I HOLLER
TO GET EVERYONE'S ATTENTION, THAT SOME MAY FOLLOW.

THAT'S FOLLOW ME, ON LIFE'S BIG TOUR
TO A PLACE, SACRED AND PURE
WHERE FORGIVINESS IS FOUND, AND PEACE RESIDES
PURIFYING OUR HEARTS, IN HOPE WE'LL ABIDE.

THEREFORE MEDITATE ON, THE WORD EACH DAY
FOR SIN WILL SURELY, LEAD US ASTRAY
AS DARKNESS PREVAILS, IT DISTORTS OUR VIEW
BUT ON BENDED KNEES, PRAYER SEE US THROUGH.

THROUGH SICKNESS AND DISEASE, DEATH AND DRUGS
THROUGH EARTHQUAKES AND TSUNAMIS, MUDSLIDES AND FLOODS
EVEN RELIGION AND GENOCIDE, CAUSE DEATH WORLDWIDE
IN IGNORANCE WERE WALKING, FOLLOWING THE WRONG GUIDE.

FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE, THE PEOPLE PERISH
THIS TRUTH ALONE, WE ALL SHOULD CHERISH
WITH GRACE AND MERCY, FAITH IS THE KEY
TO ACCESS OUR FATHER, WHO HEARS OUR PLEA.

FOR ALL OF HEAVEN, AND NATURE TOO
IS FULL OF EVIDENCE, THAT GOD IS TRUE
AS IF WE EXIST, WITHOUT A CLUE
JESUS IS LORD OF EVERYTHING, AND THAT INCLUDES YOU.

SO REPENT AND TURN, FROM YOUR WICKED WAYS
GOD WILL FORGIVE US, WE'LL SEE BETTER DAYS
FORGET NOT HIS BENEFITS, OR YOUR PRAYERS PLEASE
WHETHER STANDING OR LYING, OR DOWN ON BENDED KNEES.

AMEN
