CHAPTER 1
Before Conception
We were, we are, and we will be before any existence. Do we exist before conception? When does life begin? Were we ever born?
While reading my book, you will find information that summarizes the best of my knowledge for an easier self-transformation. In this summary, I have carefully expressed the contents of the treasures within my understanding that I have acquired during my life, including my more than forty years practicing medicine.
Allow me to bring into your awareness for self-transformation some statements that could help you understand our state of being and our decisions before conception.
In our everlasting nature, we are a continuation of infinite states of being. It is a continuous beginning: it never ends. Before any beginning and after any ending, new states of being are always a part of us. The selves are recreating new states of being, always imitating the infinite possibilities of our creator. We are always looking for a deeper love. We have and have had sensations of wholeness, but we are still looking for more.
The most satisfactory way to be different is to find treasures within ourselves. Treasures are always available, but in order to be aware of them, we need to discover them. We have tasks and purposes to realize in our lives. In a glimpse, we desire them before our conception, and we set up the necessary conditions to have a joyful experience — to acknowledge and make them part of our being. We want to make them real, and we place hurdles according to each uniqueness. For the new beginning, we purposely and consciously forget our experiences before this life. We plant treasures and hurdles in the fertile soil for the surprise and the amusement of self-creating a new beginning.
It is as if we are playing hide-and-seek. The mystery is always part of our attraction. Mystery is part of life, just as life is part of the mystery.
We all can create the new story of our beginning — our new conception — but always keep in mind that life is a continuous beginning. We are always whole and looking for more wholeness, and there is always an evolution within our infinite states of being. Let us keep in mind that time and space are an illusion, and our reality goes beyond into no-time and no-space. We are in this reality of no-time and no-space with the purpose of experiencing joy and success.
In our self-transformation, it is necessary to meditate on our meaning, our purpose, and our significance. Please go over the following statements, which have the purpose of enriching your life. These will give you the opportunity to be more in charge — to find the right in the wrong and the wrong in the right. In the energy in between, you can imagine yourself a new and self-conceived being.
• Unless we step back and consciously pay attention to who we are, we will continue to experience despair and suffering. We will have an end without realizing that when one experience finishes, a better one will always naturally replace it in our never-ending existence. In the consensus of the duality of the human reality, we usually accept the dichotomy of either/or without recognizing the quantum possibility of not only one or the other but also both at the same time. It is in between the energy of the duality that we can find the solutions to our problems. There, we embrace the understanding and the knowing that we can always continue our self-creation.
• Unless we step back and realize that time and space are a commodity at our disposal, we, as conscious beings, will not have the ability to be more conscious of the fact that we are in charge of these commodities. If our ignorance persists, we will continue to experience the slavery of limited perception, including the beginning and end of our existence. We will continue to experience fear of loneliness without realizing that we are part of a divine synchronicity.
• Unless we turn back to ourselves and consciously pay attention not only to our limitations but also to our capacity and freedom to create our own perceptions, we will continue to struggle. We will remain unaware that our infinite possibilities are certainly true, beyond any doubt, beyond any uncertainty.
• Unless we are genuinely aware of our capacity to imagine, to create, to desire, to will, and to choose new experiences in our existence, we will not be able to be conscious of the success, the enjoyment, and the bliss of our existence. We belong to something that is bigger than us — something immense that never ends. That energy we usually describe as God or a higher power continuously expands in the love and the caring of our never-ending existence.
• Unless we are consciously aware of the power, the flexibility, the self-acceptance, and the capacity to change our beliefs, we will be unable to consciously realize that we are part of the divine unconditional heritage. In His, Her, or Its essence, there is continuous caring and loving within the infinite paths of our journey in eternity.
• Unless we are aware of our presence in the here and now — and know that our essence goes beyond the time and space of our human duality — we will not be able to establish ourselves in the dignity, the spontaneity, the generosity, the magnanimity, and more that we as conscious beings inherit from our Creator.
• Unless we are aware of the divine love in our existence that never begins but always was, we will not be able to consciously realize that the purpose of our present and future lives is to have fun and be successful. We will not be touched by the freedom, the compassion, and the empowerment we can have in our experiences. Instead, the burden and obligation that we attach to our daily challenges will cloud our perceptions. Dread and fear will continue to be our companions.
• Unless we realize our gratitude for our capacity to choose, we will lack the necessary understanding that we can rewrite our story through forgiveness and surrender to an easier, lighter, and more comfortable life.
• Unless we realize that within our reality we can consciously create and recreate bounds, limitations, and opportunities, we will be unable to accept how "good enough" we are. As a consequence, we will never experience the peace, balance, strength, and power of our capacity to cocreate any moment of our existence. Our imagination will continue to stagnate, and we will never appreciate the richness of our capacity to hope.
• Unless we can redirect in any instant of our existence the love and care of our Creator in us, we will miss out on the self-love, abundance, and healing we yearn for. We have purposes and destinies to fulfill, but unless we are aware that it is up to us to realize, to own, and to change them, we will not be able to consciously experience the magic of our spiritual growth. Celebration of our lives will not be possible until we respect and honor our self-created destinies.
• Unless we refuse to embrace the heresy of materialism, we will not be able to embrace the conscious gift of our spiritual heritage that is in charge. We will not be able to consciously cocreate more security and love amid the illusion of the material world. Our desire and our capacity to realize our desire will remain an embryo.
• Unless we are consciously aware of our existence before conception and after death, we will never know silence, peace, tranquility, and indestructibility. If we embrace our everlasting existence, our knowing of all the possibilities in time and space — and also in the no-time and no-space and beyond — will be more consciously available to us.
I could add more statements to help us meditate, reflect, and ponder the meaning of our existence so that we can have a more complete and deeper understanding of our being before conception. Instead, let me expand in another way the significance of what we represent before and after conception.
We are spiritual beings, and our purpose is to have fun through the successful accomplishments and achievements of the infinite possibilities and journeys we choose for our self-growth, enjoyment, and love. Before conception, deep inside our being, we decided to have the experience of our consciousness in what we call human reality. Yes, we place certain challenges in our field with the purpose of consciously rediscovering our power and, in general, our unique divine qualities. This helps us consciously remember the truth that we are ethereal and spiritual in nature.
Of course, we do not remember making that decision, and instead we allow guilt, blame, and other energies to separate us further from our source. Unless we accept our responsibility for the cocreation of our existence, we will not be able to consciously empower ourselves in the mirror of the immense infinite power of our Creator. If we do not accept our participation and responsibility in the decisions of our existence, we will not consciously be able to experience the dignity, the abundance, the freedom, and the enchantment in our lives — just to mention a few of our deeper desires. We need to feel responsible, not guilty, for our experiences. The more we take responsibility, the more we empower ourselves.
Yes, our human memory is limited. If sometimes we are not able to remember events from our near past, why not to give ourselves compassion and the benefit of not being able to remember our decisions before conception? Remember, the main reason for this life is self-growth, and what better way to grow but by forgetting and rediscovering that we are the source?
It is the fun of the hide-and-seek game that we play in our reality to fulfill the curiosity and the joy of finding out who we really are. Asking for help and receiving it is also part of being in charge. In our self-transformation, there are many reasons and purposes for forgetting experiences. One is to be able to experience the awe, the power, and the joy that we usually have when we discover treasures and gifts that we have forgotten — and to have the opportunity to realize consciously that these always have been part of ourselves.
We uncover them. We satisfy our curiosity, and then we have the joyful exclamation: That was what it was all about? Gratefully, we accept that there is more.
We are God's dream. How many times do we dream and, in the dream or after the dream, become aware of the reality and the solidity of the experience? How many times does it happen that, when are able to recreate the dream, we are amazed by the power we have of turning memories into the solidity that we call reality? We are in charge of the power of our memories, and we are in charge of changing them. We are always in evolution.
Yes, in the magic of no-time and no-space before our conception, we yearn and long for more identification with our cocreator — and, we could also say, for more purification and more awareness that pain and suffering can be replaced by peace, joy, and success in our existence. As always, before a new conception, we are looking for more love.
In that glimpse of consciousness before our conception, we have visions and challenges in our destiny that we consciously forgot. In the treasures of our human conscious reality, we have the necessary means and energies to take advantage of our self-creative forgetfulness, with the purpose of discovering ourselves. Existence is a continuous search for more love within the infinite experiences before and after conception.
Yes, we are part of our infinite number of daydreams. Where we are amazed by our delightful games of hide-and-seek. Yes, we are God's dream. We are not only the magic of our childhood dreams or the fantasy and curiosity of our adolescent dreams, but the power and the sacredness of remembering ourselves as spiritual beings in the eternal sea of divinity.
It is as if in the dreams of our existence we had before conception, we felt the desire to experience the enchantment of our universe. Our desirable future was the experience of elegance, intimacy, joy, and success in the span of time and space we call human experience.
Before conception, we were able to love, and we were able to care, but we also wanted to care and love more deeply. That was also the purpose of our existence in this reality of time and space. Although we were satisfied and felt good enough, we wanted to cocreate more satisfaction and higher spiritual realities of being. We always could be satisfied knowing that there was more. New conceptions were waiting for us.
Before conception, we are unique. Unfortunately, we usually do not respect our uniqueness. Most of the time, we want to generalize. As spiritual beings, we are equal, and there are levels of self-growth, but remember — in the spiritual realm, the reality goes beyond time and space. Our growth is primordially spiritual in nature, and the purpose and the challenges of our lives that we establish before conception are part of the natural essence of our being.
In the moment of our conception, we forget that we create our own challenges, beginning with the innocence of childhood. When buried in the solidity of our material world, we are no longer flexible, and we become fearful, outraged, bored, and judgmental. We get lost, and our desperation, compulsiveness, isolation, abandonment, and loneliness increases. Our negative ego takes over, and our self is no longer in charge. We alienate ourselves. After conception, we experience separation from our spiritual reality, and we long to restore our wholeness.
Remember, life is experiential knowledge. We were planning before conception for a deeper and more abundant love. Let us remember that our purpose to become human was not to hurt ourselves or others. The illusion of our negativity could become a hurdle in the awakening to the treasures that we planted before conception.
We always have been and will be spiritual beings. Before conception, we were yearning for higher levels of spirituality. We would like to be more flexible, to have more light, to have more consistency, more joy, more freedom, and more individuality in our existence. These and many more energies — including gratitude, discipline, passion, compassion, and trust — are part of the complexity of our spirituality. Owning them brings us closer to the purity of God's essence as part of the wishes and desires before our conception.
In any one of the dreams of our conception before a new life, we are looking for a more sensuous and exquisite existence. Remember, our dreams as well as our lives are real illusions worth living in fulfillment and self-realization. Unless we dissent from the material, we will not be able to get in touch with the memories before conception. We are continuously searching for the memories of our spirit and our soul. We are yearning and longing for more moments of love, magic, enchantment, and mystery.
We are always in the process of growing while finding our treasures of the memories before conception. As a consciousness, we are able intuitively to witness anything, any part of our experiences, including those before, during, and after conception. Let us be cautious, however. While witnessing we can get lost and become one with the object of our perception — and by doing so, we can alienate ourselves.
We are looking for wholeness. We are looking to restore our memory that we belong to the totality of the divinity. We are looking for the freedom of self-transformation. Again, as before conception, we are looking for a more divine meaning and significance to our existence.
We are continuously establishing ourselves in the doing and having. Without conscious meaning and purpose, we fall into the doing and having automatically. Nevertheless, it is uncomfortable. We are always looking to be more in charge, and we forget we are the ones who are creating our own reality. It is time to transform ourselves and be more in the present moment, in the here and now. For us, to be and to do involves our will, imagination, and the power and focus of our attention.
In this moment, as before conception, we are at the peak of spiritual knowledge of the conjugation of previous experiences. Yes, we forgot, and we got lost; but in the process of remembering, we get out of the illusion and are able to establish ourselves more in the reality of the treasure of our spirituality.
We have the capacity to believe, create, imagine, think, feel, desire, be grateful, empower, will, and more. All these gifts are part of our consciousness. With these gifts, we can create new realities. We can recreate past and future memories. We can let go and be better than new again. Our perception is at our disposal. We just need to be awake and enjoy our journey. In the true reality of no-time and no-space, it is already done. We already made it.
Before our conception, we were part of a true reality, but we wanted to experience the excitement and thrill of a new reality more in accordance with God's reality. Our attention and our intention were directed to this new reality. The solidity of our new reality depends on our capacity to focus our attention and intention on our self-realization according to what our imagination is offering to us in that moment.
