Set against the backdrop of the last quarter-century of Asian financial turmoil and world economic upheaval, this book traces the life of a young professional architect who eventually became an entrepreneur in property development. It contains the author's development projects, which are mostly part of the design works of the author's architectual firm, Arkitek Teknikarya, as well as the body of design works and projects of the firm. More than a collection of projects, the book is about the pursuit of being professional and enterprising at the same time, with the struggle for a balance between architectural idealism and commercial success.
