Paperback. Applause From Above: A Right The Wrongs Fable is a contemporary thriller exploring consequence, redemption, and the moral complexity of covert justice. After the collapse of his financial career, Jacob Paisley becomes involved with Ellipsis, an off-the-books collective that intervenes where traditional systems fail. Guided by Ruby, a mysterious mentor, and supported by Adele, whose resilience anchors him, Jacob attempts to rebuild his life through service rather than financial ambition. Ellipsis, their clandestine organization, becomes entangled with Victoria, a former lover of Jacob's. In an covetous effort of hers, she builds and expands upon an arms network and works with bad actors intending to threaten the public. A parallel threat emerges in the form of a disturbed stalker whose fixation on Jacob and Adele escalates toward tragedy. As the Ellipsis team works to dismantle Victoria's operation, they confront the domestic extremism, surveillance, and a violent warehouse siege that leaves lasting ramifications.Following the confrontation, Victoria is removed to an undisclosed location designed to force isolation and reflection, while Jacob and Adele struggle to recover and redefine their future. Set primarily in Manhattan and surrounding urban environments, the novel explores the hidden networks operating beneath the city's surface. The narrative follows multiple intersecting perspectives within Ellipsis, highlighting the varied motivations and moral conflicts of its members. The tone is tense, character-driven, and grounded in real-world social dynamics. The novel examines the cost of intervention, the weight of unintended consequences, and the difficult path toward personal transformation.
