Paris, Ex Officina Plantiniana apud Hadrianum Perier, 1613. 2 parts in one volume, in 4°, pagination: [20, including blank], 61, [7], 310, [2, blank], [8], 99, [1, privilege dated Nov 1612], with separate dated title page to second part 'M Minuci Felicis Octavius.', first title page in red and black . Several margins with 19th Century inscriptions [one word at a time, in large lettering, apparently by the daughter of Patrick Torry, Bishop of St Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane [d.1852]. Text lightly toned, but apart from the intrusive marginal words a very good well margined copy. First edition; the printing privilege was granted to Perier and Mettyer, the latter's name appearing on the imprint of the second title page, the former's name on the first; this corresponds to the BL copy but on no other we can trace. A scarce collection of these writings of the earliest Latin Fathers of Christianity, edited with notes by Herault 'much esteemed' according to Bayle. 1 volume volumes.
