Life is about adding value. Success in life requires making good value judgments by knowing which choices and actions will create the greatest possible net value. This book is about learning how to consistently and accurately answer “The Central Question” of life, love, and leadership— "What choice can I make and action can I take, in this moment, to create the greatest net value?" The better you can answer this question, the more value you can create and the greater success and happiness you can have. Chances are, there is nothing wrong with you. You are not broken or in need of repair. Your “weaknesses” do not need fixing. Everything you need to generate greater success and happiness is already right between your ears. All you need are the keys to unlock and liberate the natural strengths and wisdom you already have. Peter and Harvey present a fresh and powerful new science-based paradigm for personal, leadership, and organizational development. Taking you on a journey that ranges from profound to practical and from educational to enlightening, this book sheds new light on the ancient quest to unleash greater human potential. Whether you are an individual looking to improve your own success in life or a leader seeking to take your entire organization to new levels of performance, Answering The Central Question may well hold the keys to your future. Includes a free "VQ Profile Assessment"
Acerca del autor: About Peter D. Demarest Ever since his early teens selling door-to-door, Peter has been a street-student of the successful mind. After serving in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service, most of his “first-life” career was spent in the IT industry. He held a variety of positions from geek to guru in the both the corporate and the entrepreneurial worlds. In the early 2000s, around the time his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer, he left the corporate world to pursue his passion for transformational coaching and education. Always driven by a thirst for understanding motivation and thinking, he dove deeply into the fields of neuroscience and axiology. Over the years, he has trained dozens of other coaches in axiology-based coaching and has personal coached, trained and consulted with hundreds of people including doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, CPAs, managers and executives of numerous organizations small and large. Today, as a thought-leader in the integration of axiology and neuro-science and creator of the concept of Axiogenics, he and his partners in Axiogenics, LLC are on a mission to bring this work to other visionary leaders through speaking, consulting, training, coaching and writing.
