Contemporary calf, blind rules and black-stamped corner fleurons to boards, raised bands, blind fillets and leather lettering piece to spine. Gilt tooling to board edges. Light rubbing and a few small spots to boards, moderate rubbing to extremities. Front board starting at ends but secure, light creasing to spine and very light chipping to foot of spine. Corners bumped and lightly worn, rear hinge starting. Early ownership signature ("M. Wycke"?) to front pastedown. Light toning to interior with occasional light foxing and soiling. Corners of a few leaves worn without loss to text. A small spark burn to leaf Q6 (pp. 347-348) of first work affecting headline without loss to legibility. $1,250. * This scarce Restoration-era compilation serves as an artifact of the intense constitutional resetting of English parliamentary power under King Charles II. Bound together for practical reference, these three scarce procedural treatises provided the definitive legal architecture for a newly empowered House of Commons asserting it.…
