In fair condition. Leather spine mostly perished with loss at bottom compartment. Boards are heavily worn with scuffing to corners and edges. Modest soiling overall to surface of hardcover. Worming to rear board with remnants of old rubber (?) tassels. Blue covers have worn away. Internally soiled with dampness staining and instances of age stain. Heavy toning throughout with loss of some margins and tears to textblock. Worming to fore-edge not affecting text. Vignettes poorly printed and blown out. Free of known ownership or markings.
