Neuware - 'Alumni Record of Drew Theological Seminary Madison, New Jersy 1867-1925' is an extensive historical reference work compiled by William Pearson Tolley. This volume provides a detailed chronicle of the graduates and students of one of the United States' premier Methodist institutions for theological education during its first six decades of operation. Covering the period from the seminary's establishment in 1867 through the mid-1920s, the record offers invaluable biographical data, professional trajectories, and ministerial appointments of the individuals who shaped the religious and social landscape of the era.The work serves as a vital resource for genealogists, historians of religion, and researchers interested in the development of higher education in New Jersey. By documenting the diverse paths taken by Drew's alumni, the book reflects the broader evolution of the Methodist Church and its impact on global missionary work and community leadership. This record is more than a simple list of names; it is a testament to the intellectual and spiritual legacy of a pivotal institution in American theological history. Its meticulous organization allows readers to trace the growth of the seminary alongside the professional lives of those who walked its halls. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it. This work was reproduced from the original artifact, and remains as true to the original work as possible. Therefore, you may see the original copyright references, library stamps (as most of these works have been housed in our most important libraries around the world), and other notations in the work. This work is in the public domain in the United States of America, and possibly other nations. Within the United States, you may freely copy and distribute this work, as no entity (individual or corporate) has a copyright on the body of the work.As a reproduction of a historical artifact, this work may contain missing or blurred pages, poor pictures, errant marks, etc. Scholars believe, and we concur, that this work is important enough to be preserved, reproduced, and made generally available to the public.
