Large folio. Original buckram binding. 23.0" x 18.0" x 0.25". 2 preliminary leaves, 24 plates (1 colour). Brown buckram boards, soiled, rubbed and bumped. Original paper label to the front board (soiled and chipped). Maroon cloth spine, also rubbed. Later plain yellow endpapers. Fine coloured frontis, lightly soiled and foxed. Clean text and illustrations on lightly toned paper, intermittent light foxing.
