This complete set is a reprint of a rare Arabic newspaper published in Argentina by Antoun Saadeh, the founder of The Syrian Social Nationalist Party. Al-Zawba?a was suspended several times due to the refusal of the Commercial Arabic language printing houses in Argentina to print it. The majority of Saadeh?s writings during his years of exile between 1939 and 1947 by the French mandatory forces in Syria were published in this newspaper. The issue of securing its publication remained a challenge to the founder, due to the scarcity of choices and the increase in prices because of the Second World War. It is estimated that about 1500 copies per issue were printed and distributed among Syrian emigrants in south and north America. Few of these issues were secretly sent to homeland. An extremely rare set. #36034. N° de ref. del artículo 013602
