Acerca del autor
Dr. Raveendra Shankaranarayana Ubaradka, currently working as a consultant anesthesiologist at Jerudong Park Medical Centre and Maxillofacial, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Center in Brunei Darussalam, has been working in the field of anesthesia in different capacities for nearly three decades of which almost 25 years as medical college teacher. He had the privilege of developing the department of anesthesiology at K S Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore, India. He has been involved in conducting numerous training programs and workshops related to airway management including fiberoptic airway management in many places across the country. He has contributed a chapter on pediatric difficult airway to a pediatric anesthesia manual. Dr Raveendra is recognized for the contribution in maxillofacial anesthesia where difficult airway is frequent. He was the founder secretary of All India Difficult Airway Association (AIDAA) and was a part of the guidelines group of AIDAA which published the first Indian guidelines related to difficult airway management in 2016. He has delivered many guest lectures related to airway management in various scientific meetings and conferences including 21st ASEAN Congress of Anesthesiologists (ACA) held in Brunei in 2019. He has years of clinical and academic experience and reasonably good record of performance in the area of airway management .
Dr. Nishkarsh Gupta (MBBS, MD, MNAMS, PGCCHM, NFPM) is working as additional professor in the department of onco-anesthesiology and palliative medicine at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He has been a keen researcher with more than 180 publications to his name. He has written 30 book chapters. He has been the pioneer in the field of difficult airway in onco-anesthesia. He has been an invited faculty for more than 100 conferences. He has conducted many airway workshops across India. He is on the editorial board ofseveral journals. He is the editor of the South Asian adaptation of two of the most widely popular books in anesthesia “Clinical Anesthesia by Barash” and "Understanding Anesthesia Equipment by Dorsch & Dorsch".
Dr. Prasanna Udupi Bidkar is the head of the division of neuroanesthesiology at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) Pondicherry. He is well-known in the field of neuroanesthesiology and neurocritical care in India. He is an expert in the field of airway management in neurosurgery and onco-anesthesia. He has many publications in reputed international journals. He has written several chapters in various books and edited a book. He is the current treasurer of two national Indian societies (Indian Society of Neuroanesthesiology and Critical Care, and the Neurocritical Care Society of India). He has served in different capacities at various conferences and has been an invited faculty for more than 120 conferences.
Dr. Debendra Kumar Tripathy is working as additional professor and ex-vice dean (innovation) at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rishikesh, India. He has been pioneering in the field of ultrasound of the airway in India. He has conducted more than 10 workshops in USG in airway and delivered more than 100 lectures all over the country, and has many innovations to his credit. He has many publications and was the organizing secretary of many anesthesiology conferences in India.
Dr. Anju Gupta (MD, DNB, MNAMS, PGCCHM, IDRA) is working as an assistant professor in the department of anesthesiology, pain medicine, and critical care, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. She completed her MD from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, and now has over 15 years of experience in anesthesia and has been faculty at various national and international platforms. She is an avidresearcher and has more than 130 publications in reputed national and international journals and over 25 book chapters to her credit. She has won several prestigious awards and is on the editorial board of several journals. She is the editor of the South Asian adaptation of two of the most widely popular books in anesthesia “Clinical Anesthesia by Barash” and "Understanding Anesthesia Equipment by Dorsch & Dorsch".

El periodo de desistimiento vencerá a los 14 días desde que usted, o un tercero que no sea el transportista e indicado por usted, adquiera la posesión física del último bien o del último lote o pieza.
Para ejercer el derecho de desistimiento, complete de forma electrónica y envíe una declaración clara en nuestro sitio web, desde "Mis compras" en "Mi cuenta". Le enviaremos sin demora un acuse de recibo de dicho desistimiento a través de un soporte duradero (por ejemplo, por correo electrónico).
Para cumplir con el plazo de desistimiento, basta con que envíe su comunicación relativa al ejercicio del derecho de desistimiento antes de que venza el periodo de desistimiento.
Efectos del desistimiento
Si rescinde este contrato, le reembolsaremos todos los pagos que hayamos recibido de usted, incluidos los gastos de envío (excepto los gastos adicionales que surjan si elige un tipo de envío que no sea el tipo de envío estándar más económico que ofrecemos).
Podemos hacer una deducción del reembolso por la pérdida de valor de cualquier bien suministrado, si la pérdida es el resultado de una manipulación innecesaria por su parte.
Efectuaremos el reembolso sin demoras indebidas y, a más tardar, 14 días después de que se nos informe de su decisión de rescindir este contrato.
Efectuaremos el reembolso utilizando el mismo medio de pago que utilizó para la transacción inicial, a menos que haya acordado expresamente lo contrario; en cualquier caso, no incurrirá en ningún cargo como resultado de dicho reembolso.
Podremos retener el reembolso hasta que hayamos recibido los bienes o hasta que nos haya presentado una prueba de que los ha devuelto, lo que ocurra primero.
Deberá devolver los bienes o entregarlos a Books Puddle, New York, New York, U.S.A., sin demoras indebidas y, en cualquier caso, en un plazo máximo de 14 días a partir del día en que nos comunique su desistimiento del presente contrato. El plazo se cumple si devuelve la mercancía antes de que venza el periodo de 14 días. Tendrá que asumir los gastos directos de devolución de los bienes. Usted solo es responsable de la disminución del valor de los bienes como resultado de una manipulación distinta a la necesaria para establecer la naturaleza, las características y el funcionamiento de los bienes.
Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento
El derecho de desistimiento no se aplica a lo siguiente:
- La entrega de periódicos, diarios o revistas, con la excepción de los contratos de suscripción; y
- El suministro de contenido digital que no se proporcione en un soporte tangible (por ejemplo, en un CD o DVD) si, al hacer el pedido, aceptó que podíamos empezar a entregarlo y que no podría desistir una vez iniciada la entrega.
