Neuware - 'Africa and Some World Problems' presents a series of influential lectures delivered by the statesman and philosopher Jan Christiaan Smuts, notably including his Rhodes Memorial Lectures from 1929. This work offers a deep dive into the complex intersection of African colonial administration and the broader quest for global stability following the First World War. Smuts, a key figure in the formation of the League of Nations, provides his insights on the social transformation of the African continent and the administrative challenges of the era. The text is more than a regional study; it is a reflection on the future of world peace and the role of the international community in maintaining order during the interwar period. Smuts argues for an organized approach to governance while balancing these views with his vision for a unified global community. 'Africa and Some World Problems' is a critical document for understanding the intellectual and political climate of its time, offering readers a firsthand look at the ideologies that shaped early twentieth-century international relations and African history. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it. This work was reproduced from the original artifact, and remains as true to the original work as possible.
