Acerca del autor
Dr. Dipankar Dasgupta joined the University of Memphis as an assistant professor in 1997 and became a full professor in 2004. He is the recipient of the 2011-2012 Willard R. Sparks Eminent Faculty Award, the highest distinction and most prestigious honor given to a faculty member by the University of Memphis.
Prof. Dasgupta is one of the founding fathers of the field of artificial immune systems, making major contributions in applying bio-inspired approaches to intrusion detection, spam detection, and building survivable systems . His latest book, Immunological Computation, is a graduate-level textbook published by CRC Press in 2008. He has also edited a Springer-Verlag book on artificial immune systems and another book on genetic algorithms.
Prof. Dasgupta has more than 200 publications. A search with his name in Google Scholar indicates more than 3,800 citations, and an academic search at Microsoft shows that he has collaborated with 106 co-authors -- extraordinary testimony to the broad influence of his contributions within the research community. He is the only Computer Science faculty member in Tennessee to be featured on UCLA's list of computer scientists whose h-index is above 40.
In addition to Prof. Dasgupta's research and creative activities, he spearheads the University of Memphis' education, training, and outreach activities on Information Assurance. He is the founding Director of the Center for Information Assurance, which is a nationally designated Center for Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education and Research. He developed the University of Memphis' Graduate Certificate Program in Information Assurance and has established research collaborations with Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Dr. Arunava Roy did his Ph.D. from the Department of Applied Mathematics, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad and worked as a Post-Doctoral researcher in the Dept. of Computer Science, The University of Memphis, TN, USA. Dr. Roy currently at the University of Singapore as a research staff. He was a M.Sc. gold medallist and got INSPIRE fellowship (Govt. of India). His areas of interest are web software reliability, software reliability, cyber security, algorithm design and analysis, data structure, statistical and mathematical modelling.Dr. Abhijit Kumar Nag obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of Memphis. Previously he received his master’s in Computer Engineering from The University of Memphis and got his bachelor degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. His primary research interest includes various authentication approaches, mainly continuous authentication and multi-factor authentication systems. His other research interests include evolutionary algorithms, biometric approaches, cloud computing, computer and network security, bio-inspired/nature-inspired computing, and anomaly detection. He is an inventor of a submitted Utility Patent on Adaptive Multi-factor Authentication System. He serves as a reviewer for many reputable peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Computer Information Systems department at The Texas A&M-Central Texas, USA.

Derecho al desistimiento
Si es un consumidor, puede rescindir el contrato de acuerdo con lo siguiente. Por consumidor se entiende cualquier persona física que actúe con fines ajenos a su actividad comercial, empresarial, oficio o profesión.
Información sobre el derecho de desistimiento
Derecho legal de desistimiento
Tiene derecho a rescindir este contrato en un plazo de 14 días sin dar ningún motivo.
El periodo de desistimiento vencerá a los 14 días desde que usted, o un tercero que no sea el transportista e indicado por usted, adquiera la posesión física del último bien o del último lote o pieza.
Para ejercer el derecho de desistimiento, complete de forma electrónica y envíe una declaración clara en nuestro sitio web, desde "Mis compras" en "Mi cuenta". Le enviaremos sin demora un acuse de recibo de dicho desistimiento a través de un soporte duradero (por ejemplo, por correo electrónico).
Para cumplir con el plazo de desistimiento, basta con que envíe su comunicación relativa al ejercicio del derecho de desistimiento antes de que venza el periodo de desistimiento.
Efectos del desistimiento
Si rescinde este contrato, le reembolsaremos todos los pagos que hayamos recibido de usted, incluidos los gastos de envío (excepto los gastos adicionales que surjan si elige un tipo de envío que no sea el tipo de envío estándar más económico que ofrecemos).
Podemos hacer una deducción del reembolso por la pérdida de valor de cualquier bien suministrado, si la pérdida es el resultado de una manipulación innecesaria por su parte.
Efectuaremos el reembolso sin demoras indebidas y, a más tardar, 14 días después de que se nos informe de su decisión de rescindir este contrato.
Efectuaremos el reembolso utilizando el mismo medio de pago que utilizó para la transacción inicial, a menos que haya acordado expresamente lo contrario; en cualquier caso, no incurrirá en ningún cargo como resultado de dicho reembolso.
Podremos retener el reembolso hasta que hayamos recibido los bienes o hasta que nos haya presentado una prueba de que los ha devuelto, lo que ocurra primero.
Deberá devolver los bienes o entregarlos a AHA-BUCH GmbH, Einbeck, Germany, sin demoras indebidas y, en cualquier caso, en un plazo máximo de 14 días a partir del día en que nos comunique su desistimiento del presente contrato. El plazo se cumple si devuelve la mercancía antes de que venza el periodo de 14 días. Tendrá que asumir los gastos directos de devolución de los bienes. Usted solo es responsable de la disminución del valor de los bienes como resultado de una manipulación distinta a la necesaria para establecer la naturaleza, las características y el funcionamiento de los bienes.
Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento
El derecho de desistimiento no se aplica a lo siguiente:
- La entrega de periódicos, diarios o revistas, con la excepción de los contratos de suscripción; y
- El suministro de contenido digital que no se proporcione en un soporte tangible (por ejemplo, en un CD o DVD) si, al hacer el pedido, aceptó que podíamos empezar a entregarlo y que no podría desistir una vez iniciada la entrega.
