Paperback. Dr. Rajesh has everything a man could want. Money, fame, power and a name respected by the art world and a face recognized everywhere. And then there is Tara. The most desired woman in the country. The woman whose face has lived on his canvas for years. The woman whose every mole he remembers, whose body he can recreate from memory, whose image has filled the walls of his home and haunted the darkest corners of his mind.Six years ago, Tara shot him in the chest. She left him to die but he survived. However, survival came at a price.A childhood he can barely remember. A mind scarred by an injury. A past buried beneath layers of violence, obsession, and unanswered questions. Now Tara is back and so is everything Rajesh tried to forget. Two murders begin to expose the cracks beneath his perfect life. A therapist determined to understand him starts digging into a history that powerful people would rather keep buried. An abandoned orphanage. A childhood soaked in cruelty. A woman who claims Rajesh betrayed her. And a man who insists he cannot remember the crimes everyone believes he committed. But memory can be a dangerous thing. Because what if Rajesh isn't the innocent victim he appears to be? What if the man searching for answers is also the murderer everyone has been searching for?And what if his obsession with Tara was never love at all?Perhaps love was never meant to survive what they did to each other.Perhaps some people don't fall in love, they fall into obsession. And sometimes, obsession pulls the trigger. And then there is Tara.
The most desired woman in the country. The woman whose face has lived on his canvas for years. The woman whose every mole he remembers, whose body he can recreate from memory, whose image has filled the walls of his home and haunted the darkest corners of his mind.
Six years ago, Tara shot him in the chest. She left him to die but he survived. However, survival came at a price.
A childhood he can barely remember.
What if the man searching for answers is also the murderer everyone has been searching for?
And what if his obsession with Tara was never love at all?
Perhaps love was never meant to survive what they did to each other.
Perhaps some people don't fall in love, they fall into obsession.
And sometimes, obsession pulls the trigger.
