Sinopsis

Diamond Legacies is a baseball simulation game for one or two players. After picking the teams, you determine the lineups and managerial strategy; die rolls and charts determine what happens on the field of play. Each ballplayer in the game represents a real player in baseball history with ability ratings based on his actual statistics.

For this volume of Diamond Legacies, the year is 1955. Ratings are provided for the major league ballplayers on each team in the American League and the National League. You can replay the epic World Series between the Brooklyn Dodgers and the New York Yankees. Or you can replay the All-Star Game from that year or any team’s entire 1955 season. You could even find out what would have happened if one of the top baseball stars was traded to another team before the start of the season. If you have the other volumes in the Diamond Legacies series, teams from 1955 could square off against teams from 1927, 1934, 1948, or 1975.

All you need to start playing is this book and a set of percentile dice (not included). Travel back to the ballparks of 1955 and watch the diamond exploits of Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Duke Snider, Whitey Ford, Ernie Banks, Yogi Berra, Al Kaline, Hank Aaron, and Don Newcombe. These legends and the other big league players from 1955 are ready to take the field again!
