He is the author of The Long Arc of Leadership and is currently completing the five-book Harry Hudson Cold War espionage series, which explores themes of identity, loyalty, sacrifice, and moral complexity during the turbulent decades of the 1960s and 1970s.The Resting Place: Thoughts Along the Way reflects a more personal dimension of Mayer's life journey.
