Polycarp: The Early Years - Tapa blanda

Sinopsis

This historical novel is the first of five books exploring the life and ministry of a great hero of the Christian faith: Bishop Polycarp of Smyrna, who, at the age of eighty-six, defied the Roman governor of his city and thousands of people clamoring for his death to boldly proclaim Jesus Christ as his King and Savior. His martyr's death is extraordinary, but the obvious devotion and preaching and witnessing that he accomplished in his long life has been celebrated for centuries past. This book took months of meticulous research and careful handling of the known timeline of his life.to produce a riveting journey into second-century Christianity.
