Three Wishes Left (Dreadtime, Band 1) - Tapa blanda

Sinopsis

Lucas Bell wanted everyone to know his name. Now nobody remembers his best friend’s.

At Galaxy Arcade, Lucas finds an old fortune machine hidden behind a curtain. The Wish Keeper offers him three wishes, and he knows exactly what to ask for: to be the most popular kid in school.

It works.

His best friend, Eli Cruz, disappears.

Eli’s parents say they never had a son. His face vanishes from photographs. His friends, his victories, even his jokes now belong to Lucas.

And being popular is getting scary. Hundreds of identical messages fill Lucas’s phone. Kids follow him through the halls, fight to sit beside him, and gather outside his bedroom window.

With his little sister, Sadie, Lucas must uncover the Wish Keeper’s rules and bring Eli home before midnight on the third day. He has two wishes left.

But the machine already knows who it wants next.

Three Wishes Left is the first standalone adventure in Dreadtime, C L Allen’s middle-grade horror series for readers ages 8–12, packed with creepy mysteries, sharp humor, and friendships worth fighting for.
