Every young person deserves the chance to be seen beyond their circumstances-this 30-day journal gives at-risk youth programs a trauma-informed tool for reflection, growth, and renewed purpose. Created by Antwaun "Coach T(R)" Thompson, founder of JLT Fieldhouse, Inc., this edition adapts the S.E.A. of Success(R) framework for use in juvenile justice, probation, and at-risk youth program settings, with content and structure specifically designed for this population.
Each day's S.E.A. Daily Check-In-Simplicity, Effort, and Attitude-gives young people a structured, judgment-free space to reflect honestly, without the journal functioning as a disciplinary tool or surveillance mechanism. "The One Little Thing" prompt keeps the practice accessible and achievable, even on the hardest days, while a Certificate of Completion provides a tangible marker of accomplishment at the end of the thirty-day arc. What sets this edition apart is its dedicated Facilitator Guide, written specifically for program staff, counselors, probation officers, and youth workers. The guide provides clear direction on introducing the journal, facilitating weekly group reflection sessions, handling difficult disclosures with care, and meaningfully celebrating completion-equipping facilitators with practical tools matched to the realities of this setting.Coach T writes to these young people the same way he has spoken to every young person he has coached and mentored across nearly 40 years: with belief, not judgment. The suggested introduction language sets the tone immediately-this journal is theirs, it is not graded, and it is not surveillance."Sinopsis" puede pertenecer a otra edición de este libro.
