For Better or for Ransom: A Sol & Luke Mystery Romance Novel - Tapa blanda

Sinopsis

Some couples take romantic getaways. These two solve kidnappings.

Entertainment journalist Sol Novo and private detective Luke Contadino are almost a year into their relationship, sharing a home and enjoying a few days in her native Barcelona. Then the actor Sol interviewed that afternoon vanishes from his theater dressing room. An open window and a taunting note are all the invitation they need to investigate.

But when it turns out the missing star headlines an upcoming high-stakes project, streaming giant Meshflixx officially hires Luke’s agency to track him down. Sol joins the team as an unofficial consultant, bringing the entertainment knowledge and interviewing instincts that make her much more than the detective’s romantic partner.

The search carries them from Barcelona’s bustling streets to Mallorca’s Mediterranean coast. Luke misses London. Sol could get used to the sunshine. Neither has lost interest in finding time alone together—but after two divorces, Sol isn’t sure she has one more “I do” left in her.

A missing star is one problem. Agreeing on forever is quite another.

For Better or for Ransom is a steamy mystery romance about an established couple investigating together. Book 3 in the Sol & Luke Mystery Romance series; you can comfortably start here.
