Fate Accompli: The Water Nymph Gospels, Book 1 - Tapa blanda

Sinopsis

Fate had one job. And she bungled it . . . badly.
Now only a cursed hatter and a tormented water nymph can fix the damage.

Tuscany, 1603. Andolosia Petasos dreams of becoming the next da Vinci. Unfortunately, Fate has cursed him to make hats.

It’s not Andolosia’s fault his Greek ancestor stole Hermes’ teleportation cap and brought down the wrath of Olympus. The gods frown on that sort of thing.

Andolosia’s fortunes take a startling turn after the eccentric Sansone de Medici commissions an unusual hat for his opera. While delivering the finished piece, Andolosia discovers that his benefactor is possessed by the god Apollo. Worse, Sansone has captured the belligerent yet beguiling Carlotta Lux, a descendant ofthe water nymph Daphne. Unless Andolosia intervenes, Sansone will ravish her that very night.

Andolosia uses Hermes’ hat to whisk Carlotta away. Driven by a supernatural compulsion, Sansone pursues the fugitives to Sicily. There, the star-crossed pair must prepare for a divine confrontation, armed only with a dubious prophecy and a growing romance.

This expanded, second edition of Fate Accompli is Book 1 of The Water Nymph Gospels, a humorous work of mythic fiction and a Foreword INDIES Finalist in the Humor category.
