Where will Dewey take me is the story of Elijah, curious Jewish boy who loves Saturdays. That's the day he visits the synagogue with his grandfather, then heads to the library for an afternoon of adventure. His favorite part is spending time with Dewey, the helpful library robot who always knows the perfect book to spark Elijah's imagination. This Saturday, Elijah wants to learn something new. He’s curious about the Dewey Decimal System and how robots like Dewey are made. As the day comes to an end, Elijah leaves the library inspired and determined to return next week. One day, he hopes to build a robot of his very own.

Acerca del autor
Carlotta Berry is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Robotics at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, owner of NoireSTEMinist Educational Consulting, LLC, co-founder of Black in Engineering and Black in Robotics. She writes textbooks and children's books about robotics and artificial intelligence. Her research interests include diversifying STEM, engineering education, open-source robotics, and human-robot interaction. She is passionate about engineering education, robots and diversity in STEM fields and enjoys writing to open up the world of robotics and engineering to people of all ages and backgrounds.
