Born and raised in Southwest Kansas, Jennifer was taught the importance of faith and Christian values from a young age. She has always loved the original Christmas story and cherishes her collection of more than one hundred Nativities. Each year, she continues a beloved family tradition of creating a new Nativity craft. The third of 10 children, Jennifer learned early on the joy of family, creativity, and working together. She is deeply grateful to her parents for instilling such values in their children. With over two decades of experience working with children in elementary education, Jennifer recognizes the profound power of reading and storytelling in a child's life. The Nativity is, perhaps, the most miraculous story of them all. Jennifer now lives amid the beautiful mountain landscape of Southern Utah with her husband, Mike, and their youngest daughter, Evelyn. She treasures her roles as wife, mother, and grandmother and finds great joy in teaching her family to build a firm foundation in their Savior, Jesus Christ.

Shanzay Saquib is an artist and designer who loves to tell stories through her art. Living in Pakistan, she finds inspiration in the beauty of everyday life and the magic of stories that have been passed down through generations. Shanzay is especially drawn to the story of Joseph and Mary: a story about courage, faith, and the miracle of new life. Shanzay believes that everyone has a story to tell. She hopes that her illustrations will inspire children to use their imaginations, dream big, and believe in the power of love.
