Sinopsis

Alan Foster, his sister Abigail, and their two best friends, Mei and Tadashi Koi, were on a normal high school field trip to a nearby forested park. When an old friend from their past leads them away from the other students, and into unknown danger, the four teens find themselves transported to another world that is straight out of fiction.
As they travel this beautiful and mysterious world, searching for a way home, they will discover truths about themselves and their families, encountering many dangers, ranging from an enigmatic man known by the title Shadow-Lord, to dangerous lizardmen, evil entities of magical origin, and frightening fauna as well as semi-sentient flora.
On their journey to return home, the teens are embroiled in an ancient battle between good and evil as they undertake a quest to find two sacred orbs.
But not all is clear, and loyalties will be tested, for the lines between good, evil, friend, and foe, are all blurred in this first part of the teens’ journey in the world known as Whenua.
