Acerca del autor
Tara Jaye Frank is a leadership strategist, equity advocate, and soulful truth-teller who believes in the promise of people. She began her career as a Hallmark greeting card writer, where she learned three guiding principles: approach others with curiosity, take nothing for granted, and start every answer with care and creativity.Today, she is founder and CEO of The Waymakers Change Group, advising Fortune 500 companies and senior leaders acrossindustries on human-centered leadership and workplace equity. A former Hallmark executive, Tara has held multiple senior roles, including vice president of creative writing, multicultural strategy, and business innovation. She also spent ten years as creative partner to Dr. Maya Angelou.Tara is the award-winning author of The Waymakers and a 2025 LinkedIn Top Voice. She is a proud Spelman College alumna, a member of The Executive Leadership Council and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and a wife, mother of six, and grandmother.
