Have you ever been absolutely miserable at a job? Have you felt the desire to tell your boss off? Have you felt extremely frustrated because you know exactly what management is doing wrong and how to fix it?
Failure of Leadership, The State of Business As Usual in America, minces exactly no words about the average workplace's leadership failure at companies throughout the U.S., including mom-and-pop shops, small businesses, and the largest corporations.
If you are offended by foul language, this book is not for you. On the other hand, if you have been held down, overlooked, underutilized, mistreated, or otherwise abused by a boss, this book can be cathartic.
If you are in a leadership position and want to get to the truth so you can build a better organization and be a better leader, this book can give you some crystal-clear insights. An entire workforce has been waiting for decades for you to get better at your job.

J.P. Abbott began working at the age of 14, and has spent time at companies both large and small. After graduating from the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree journalism with a concentration in advertising (or, a B.S. in B.S. as she likes to say) she continued to learn by reading hundreds of books and articles about business, marketing, and leadership. In addition to working at various jobs in corporate America, she also co-owned and ran two small businesses; one of them a luxury home general contractor where she handled the marketing, accounting, interior design and client relations, and one an advertising agency where she advised and consulted with leaders and CEOs in dozens of industries. Improvement is always her goal for herself and everyone around her.
