Sinopsis

Spell-binding fantasy adventure following an unlikely hero’s destiny quest. – BookLife Review

The High King had been murdered on his throne. Ambrose the Prophet was dead.

Now in possession of the Lawbreaker’s ring and blamed for both those deaths, Lauren flees from town to town across the Federation pursued by bounty hunters and soldiers of the High King.

Haunted by the loss of his mentor and sought by some malevolent power, Lauren hides his true name and his identity as a minstrel. He finds refuge in a place he never dreamed existed and there he comes face to face with the history of his people and a destiny he's not sure he can accept.
