With a book in hand, she'd often find herself lost in its pages until sleep gently beckoned her away. Growing up surrounded by a wealth of books at home and frequent visits to the library, where her mother worked for several years, Melonie's passion for literature only deepened.​Melonie pursued her academic aspirations, earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Francis Marion University and a Master of Science degree from the University of South Carolina. Yet, amidst her academic journey, her heart remained tethered to the joy of storytelling. Today, Melonie finds her greatest happiness in the simple pleasures of life: spending cherished moments with family and friends and doting on her beloved dogs - Daisy and Bronson.
