Sinopsis

Physical therapist Amber Dawson strives to make life better for others. She'd love to leave the corporate atmosphere of her current job. If only she could buy the charming, abandoned house on the edge of town and open her own practice.

Ben Russo overcame a troubled youth and works as an engineer for the town of Brenner Falls. He's convinced the dilapidated house is historic and wants to prove it. Not only does he love history, but the discovery might also help him climb in his career.

When Amber and Ben meet at a wedding reception, the negative impression is mutual. But they later discover the little house they both have their eyes on is condemned unless they can prove it's historically significant. If the house is demolished, neither one will get it, so they decide to work together.

As Ben and Amber delve into the house's past, they encounter intrigue they never expected, and an attraction to each other they can't deny. But as they hit roadblocks to saving the broken-down house, they also come face to face with their own hidden brokenness and the grace that heals it.
