Shabd Yoga and Sant Mat: The Path to God Realization - Tapa blanda

Sinopsis

Shabd Yoga, the time-honored discipline of listening to the inner sound current, when practiced regularly and accurately, is an effective means of fostering the development of one's consciousness, a valid method for achieving evolutionary spiritual growth, an effective means of tapping into and experiencing a person's innate inner bliss, and a certain means of achieving self-realization. "Shabd Yoga and Sant Mat" reveals the common esoteric thread that ties all of the world's sacred traditions together.

Yoga, as it is now taught and practiced in the West, is a marvelous component to Western culture. But contemporary yoga is missing something; a vital link to its ancient roots. It is missing the practice of Shabd Yoga; the practice realizing one's true self by absorbing the attention into the audible harmonic current of life.

"Shabd Yoga and Sant Mat" discusses the method itself and the attainments that can accrue from sustained, disciplined practice. It also explores the entire history of this ancient practice, including a discussion of the many spiritual masters who have mastered Shabd Yoga and taught it throughout the millennia.
