A Safe Haven: Book 1: "Prepare For The End Series" - Tapa blanda

Sinopsis

Book one, starts out a bit idealistic, as you meet some of the main characters, in the days just before their world is shattered. You’ll see their wit, their love of God, and their friendship. You’ll see a brief glimpse of what the other side is up to, as well—and see the contrast between them. Be prepared… this is NOT your momma’s Christian fiction. The other side can be ugly and brutal. As Jake, my main character likes to say: ‘the truth isn’t always pretty, but it’s still the truth.’
As the series unfolds, ask yourself: How far can a man be pushed? What do you do when you see the one you love so traumatized? Where exactly, is the line between civility and survival? Pray, you never have to find out; but if you do, maybe you’ll have already worked out some of those issues as you go along with the people you’ll meet.
You’ll face some tough choices in this series, just ask yourself, ‘what would I do in similar circumstances?’ What will you do to protect your family? Is there ever a right time to do the wrong thing? What happens if you do? How do you fight shadows, and things that go bump in the night?
What exactly is a calling from God, and what is true Christianity?
Theology. Love stories. Intrigue. Murder. Satanic ceremonies. Original songs. Brokenness. Healing. Training a group of men for both kinetic and spiritual battles. Rescuing those who are held against their will, forced to do things no one should have to do. Called to preach to a nation, and hated for what you believe. The past—you tried so hard to bury—rearing its ugly head once again, and this time there’s no keeping the lid on it.
In the words of one of my characters, as she sings:
“Who will I serve?
Who will I be?
There’s, so many things
… pulling at me…
Wanting what I want
But I really don’t know
… which way I’ll go
