Dragon Rules: A Middle Grade Portal Fantasy Adventure: 2 (Dragon Guardians) - Tapa blanda

Sinopsis

Every dragon guardian must follow the rules… Too bad Aidan just broke them.

The day Aidan McAllister turned thirteen, she became a dragon guardian—a cosantóir—for J, a powerful and somewhat goofy green dragon.

After discovering J and a portal to the mysterious Otherworld hidden within a jeweled antique box, Aidan is still learning what it truly means to follow the Dragon Rules.

But being a cosantóir is not all fun and games.

The rules of J’s Otherworld shift without warning, and danger lurks at every turn. Shadowy enemies stalk the magical realm, including an ebony dragon who enslaves humans and Charity, a dark fairy with plans of her own.

Meanwhile, Aidan is still trying to balance normal life—cheerleading, art, cooking, babysitting, and cultivating her inner fashionista.

When her little brother Zach takes off with J on an Otherworld misadventure, Aidan must break important Dragon Rules to rescue him. With the reluctant help of Paige Gauley—a quiet girl from school hiding secrets of her own—Aidan plunges into a dangerous magical world of shifting landscapes, strange creatures, and dragon battles.

Dark forces are closing in. Dragons are gathering for a terrible fight. And Paige may be connected to the enemy in ways none of them understand.

Now Aidan vows to do everything in her power to protect Zach, J, and Paige, a true friend she now thinks of as her cosantóir sister.

Because in the Otherworld, some rules were made to be broken.

Dragon Rules is the second adventure in the Dragon Guardians series—warm, funny, Florida-flavored middle-grade fantasy with heart, mischief, and even a couple of recipes straight from Aunt Neece’s kitchen. Perfect for young readers who love dragons, secret worlds, brave adventures, and found family.
