Acerca del autor

Debi Bower is a web designer, photographer, and award-winning travel writer from Rochester, New York. She has lived in the area all her life, with her youth spent in West Irondequoit with her parents and sister and young adult life in Holley and North Chili. She currently lives in Scottsville with her husband, where they raised their two daughters, who now have families of their own. After years of documenting day-trip ideas for her Girl Scout troop, she launched daytrippingroc.com in 2017 as a community resource, writing detailed guides highlighting the best places to visit in the city of Rochester, the Genesee Valley, and the Finger Lakes region, as well as several destinations in Central New York, Western New York, and the Southern Tier.
