Sinopsis

A universal message for today that many should learn. Please share and recommend it.

The story of how a Jewish girl survived the Holocaust.

With disguises and multiple identities she survived and made it from Latvia through Germany to Palestine. A true story of a teenage girl's resilience told with insight, humor, and honesty.

The Lindens Still Bloom is an exciting holocaust memoir of a Jewish teenager's resilience, audacity and determination to live. It includes numerous photos and historical context. It is more than a memoir. It tells of life in Kaiserwald and Stutthoff concentration camps, the death march, Liepaja massacres, life in the ghetto, as well as life before the Nazis and being on her own behind the enemy lines.

An enthusiastic, humorous and keen-eyed story teller, Shoshana has an incredibly exciting story to tell. Without judgement, she tells stories that show the best and worse of human nature in the most drastic circumstances.

The Linden Still Bloom defies expectations of holocaust books by not being a grim and dark tale, though there is that too.
It is a testament to beauty and life.

The book is in direct language that makes it also a good book for English language lessons.

A video of Shoshana Kahn telling her story was recorded for the USC Shoah Foundation. It is on youtube.
